E-brake cable stretched 06 SS

Well I already posted a thread about this and tried out what was suggested to fix the problem, new brake pads, and that did not fix whats wrong with my e-brake cables.

Again I would bring it to the dealer, however, I do not want to bring it to the dealer for all the reasons none of us ever want to bring things to the dealer.

The cable is still stretched further. (see pics in my last post https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/problems-service-maintenance-69/parking-e-brake-cable-stretched-134269/ )

Should I just replaced the calipers to fix this problem, or give in and just have the dealer mess with it?

Ideas please!

There should be some kind of cable adjustment ,They are going to stretch and there has to be away of adjusting the cables to make the pads apply pressure evenly.

you need to remove the cover from the e-brake handle and there is a 10mm nut that you use for adjusting the cable.

Before spending all that money on new calipers did you try the other adjustment point on the calipers? I had the same problem, cable seemed stretched, there was no room to adjust on the cable itself, adjusted at the caliper instead and the problem VANISHED.
