e-brake not working solution.

i figured since ive been reading so much about this e-brake problem(and didnt know if anyone found a solution yet) id let everyone in on something i did to fix mine. buy a new caliper or calipers if its dragging on both sides(like mine is). ive noticed that the e-brake assembly on the back of the caliper freezes from old age and from maybe being in colder weather. it freezes and doesnt release the cable and also doesnt pull the cable. also makes the brakes squeak when you reverse. i changed the calipers along with new brake pads out and my e-brake works and theirs is no dragging issue. hope this works for everyone else having this problem.

you can get the stock calipers for around $100 at napa without the core charge. if you bring in the old ones and you get that money back.
