Ebrake cable broke

Hey guys I pulled up my brake today and felt a snap and now the brake is loose. Pulled up the cup holder and turns out the small cable snapped that's attached to the handle. Anyone know the part number for this I tried to google and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

It appears to be AC Delco 18P96994 or Raybestos BC96994. Couldn't find the GM part number from my alldata service manual or any part diagrams either.
Let me know how it turns out!

Is that metal piece attached to the cables suppose to just sit in there like this ? Not attached to anything else ? Trying to put one back together and didn't see how it came apart so using this pic as a reference ..

Yea its just a balancer/adapter that pulls both rear cables when the front cable is pulled. It's not attached to any rail or anything just kinda free floating with the cables to hold it in place.

Go to the junkyard and pull one out of any cobalt lol. This happened to me and the dealership wanted $180 for the whole ebrake assembly. I took it out of a balt, went to pay for it and they just laughed and said I could have it for free.
