Hello, i own a 2008 Cobalt LS. About a month ago while the car was still under warrenty the car started to experiance some problems. You could be driving down the road and all of the sudden all the gauges would shut off and the lcd display would flash Power Steering. Then the gauges would go from off to on off to on. If you pulled over and restarted the car it would be fine. So we took the car to our dealer who said they scanned it and said the ECM was going bad. Ok fine, the replaced that. Now my cars been back at the dealership for 2 weeks for the same thing and supposedly they cant find a problem with it. Has this ever happened to one of you? Is it the power steering thats going out or something else. When the problem happens the car seems to drive fine no noticable power steering loss its just the gauges are going haywire and the car tends to shift much harder than normal. Please help.
