Been having trouble with car not starting with radio fuse in about 2 weeks ago. This past weekend took it all apart checked wires etc and no problems since saturday. Then tonight driving everything shuts off car ran fine though but speedo went from saying about 55mph to zero along with rpms fuel radio all off. I pull over, turn off and sit about 30 secs turn back on.. car starts no movement on gauges everything zero out and my security light stayed on?? wtf so turn back off pull out radio fuse start again now gauges work no security light. Some help please this is getting old and im lost. You think if i replace radio with a aftermarket hu it will go away or what, dont want to nor have the $$$ to just blow replacing parts lol Sorry for the length btw any help/ideas...Thanks

Did you Check the wire splicing under the drivers seat .
I read if water gets into it those same problems will happen.

 

Yep tore that apart saturday and everything seemed fine, car ran all week with radio fuse in then last night this bs and i gave up made an appt with dealership for tomorrow. Hope they dont rob me

 

So disturbing the wires behind the radio caused it to work fine or a week.When before you couldnt start it with the fuse in makes me think there still something shorting out the wires behind the radio.
Does the radio work fine with no problems when the fuse isnt blown.

As I told you before the only two things on that fuse are the radio and the door lock remote reciver module. You could unplug that and see what happens.

 

It was at the dealership all day yesterday, they cant find anything wrong of course it started for them with radio fuse in. So they agree they it if it happens again in near future they will tow it for free and then they have their no start problem first hand. They said i shuldnt have pulled out the fuse and i was like how was i supposed to get it here? push it lol. So its whatever now they will pay to tow and hopefully eventually fix it
