Hi, I am needing some help..I was reading all the questions and responses about the e brake issues. Thought you might be able to help with mine. Especially since my car went rolling down a hill this morning, across the street over a sewer, through a yard and stopped just before the front door of a house. My e brake cable...under cup holder, passenger side had come out so I put that back in but the passenger side cable is a lot longer then the driver side cable. So could you give me an idea of what the possible causes could be. I have new brakes and rotars all the way around as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Mine had a similar issue with the holder not holding the cables properly. I took appart the ebrake and hammered on the ends until it closed the gap enough to hold the cables. It's easy to remove the part the connects the cables to the ebrake handle. Just loosen the 10mm nut and pull back the metal clip from the back. Here's a pic of the metal clip in my car

I see some one has been using search.
That is the downside to the use of the search function... ressurecting old threads from 2010.

But I digress. Good job on useing search though

Anyhow,
A few years ago, I had a parking brake issue too. Like so many have pointed out, the cable came off the little clip under the cup holder.
But, the reason that the cable came off the clip, was because the right rear caliper had jamed into the set position. So when the lever was let down to release the parking brake my right rear caliper parking brake lever was stayting set, causeing excessive slack on the cable. I had to replace the caliper, and havn't had a problem since.

aaannndd here we go again bringing back old **** lol, I'm fairly new to the Delta platform and my problem is the greenish plastic holding my cables is gotta be broken, don't look like a part that should be floating around in my console, my question is can I replace just that plastic or do I need a whole new assembly?
