My engine light came on yesterday while I was driving and today I did the little battery trick to fix my cruise control & voila it's gone. Now I drove it around got on it a bit & it hasn't come on since then, so I was wondering if it was something very minor or not really a problem to begin with. I was going to get it checked but now that it's gone I don't know if it'll still pick up the problem. I know I've had the engine light come on before because of my intake so I would clean the Maf sensor and it would turn off too. I just need a little piece of mind knowing that hopefully it wasn't anything serious.

 

If you are so worried about it then you should have pulled the code.

 

I was going to but it came on late last night and I don't have a code reader and before I got up I wanted to fix my cruise control so when I was on my way to go get it checked it was off already.
