Engine Light & TC Light...

So, for awhile, my Traction Control light would turn on..then off... for no reason (mainly with Cruise Control on going above 70mph), but it would turn off on its own without me doing anything....the traction control still works...so, i wasnt worried.

The other day i was leaving work, and my Check Engine light turned on... It was -5 outside, and i checked my coolant level, it was running at +199.... that worried me since i was going 70mph...

so i called the local chevy dealership, i told them, they said "thats normal, the car should run at around 200 to 220degrees...."

Well, my car on average runs at about 182 or so, its rare that it goes above 190...

but, the weird thing is, the CEL was on for the night that i came home, and a good majority of the next night.....

i went to dinner with my Fiance...and sure enough, the CEL was off...

im still gonna take it in to have them look at it, because i think theres somethin wrong with the computer.

may just need a reflash or something small like that... i know a few peeps were having problems with the cruise control, i would mention that.. as far as coolant, anywhere between like 180 and 220 is totally normal... don't have to worry till it gets over 230
