Engine Rattling/fluttering after cold start

Engine Rattling/fluttering after cold start
I have a 08 LNF and it has been rattling and fluttering on cold starts. I took it to the dealership to get it checked out and they replaced the coils and solenoid telling me that would fix it.
fired it up this morning and it made the same noise as it did yesterday. dealer said i need a new timing chain. I dont really trust the dealer to much on this one because i just dropped a couple hundred "fixing" my car and now they want $1,000+ for a timing chain replacement.
Does anybody have an idea as to what is actually wrong with my car?
