Engine won't turn over. (sound file included)

Howdy,

Got back from a week long vacation and when I tried to start my car I had trouble. The first time it started right up but then died out after a couple seconds. Since that, it now won't actually turn over (if that's the right term). It just keeps making the sound like it's trying to get the engine to start but it just doesn't actually go. I have a full tank of gas so at least it's not that...

I took a recording of what it sounds like and you can listen to it here:

(click No, Thanks at the bottom of the sign up window)

Let me know if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem might be.

Thanks!!

You don't need dropbox. Just click No Thanks at the bottom of the window. And I don't think the battery is dead as it's trying to rev up just fine, it's just not catching

Happen to have a tutorial on how to do those things if it's something I can do at home? I don't know much about this car as I've never had any problems with it before so never had to research anything.
