EVAP Leak?

So i was on my way to get my hair cut, when i pulled in a spot and shut the car off. the data display to me to check my gas cap (CEL was off at this point). so i took it off and put it back on and went into the salon. i came back out and turned the car on and the CEL was lit. so i figured it was an EVAP code. later i went to autozone to get the code read and it was for a "large EVAP leak". i know it isn't the gas cap so i guess its in the tubes? maybe the canister?

Does anyone have any experience with this or a similar code??

thanks

Could be the evap purge valve as well, I do seem to recall a lot of people reporting the same issue.

yeah but i thought that was for the small leak code....the large leak code was the main canister by the tank?

No...you don't have one then. Pull off the evap line at the throttle body and see if you are getting suction. The TB has a small little hole it draws the evap system on...may be clogged.
