f35 trans drain bolt leaking

hey , i hope im in the right thread, normally im just a lurker but i need some help

i pulled a trans from a part out because my last one finally gave.

the drain bolt on this one was on super super super tight, and, also was stripped out before i got to it, seems like the guy before me tried to chisel his way into breaking it loose.

and i used an extractor and got it out, idk if u can see but the chiseling is kinda bad, it held fluid before, but now that i flushed it, no matter what i do it seems the fluid just slowly leaks out the drain plug.

my mechanic told me try two copper washers hammer it a bit and it'll give me another turn, which i did, it leaks out way less now but still not holding the fluid, i can see the drippage coming directly from it.

anyone have any pointers, ideas, or fixes? this is about the last step to having my cobalt going besides putting back on subframe, thanks guys.

If the threads aren't jacked, you can use silicone (tape or whatever) to help with sealing.
