F40 trans swap axle problems!

Hello, I’m new to this forum but I had some questions regarding my 2010 SS it has the gen 3 LDK short block and the B3 designs F40 trans swap with the open diff. I have had the car for almost a year two previous owners before me built the car to make 440 whp and the previous owner put in the trans swap. When I bought the car it already had the zzp custom level 2 axles for the driveshaft shop but they were binding on the drivers side. Last summer I took it to zzp to get new ones and after I left they still kinda binded on the sharp slow turns I asked them and they said raise ride hight and I did. After a month after I raised it they started again and only have gotten worse! I emailed zzp and they said there are no warranties through them and only through the drive shaft shop so I emailed them and they asked me to measure the distance the axle travels through the hub and I did then sent them the info. That was two weeks ago and still no word... so I talked to one of my subscribers on youtube because he said he had the same exact situation but found that the sabb aero 93 f40 axles fit fine and are way cheaper than the 400$ zzp ones. I just bought one and installed it it fit perfectly and don’t creak at all! Here’s the problem tho they are fine till about 20mph and then they start to vibrate and wobble as if my wheels are gunna fall off. I checked my intermediate shaft, bearings and axle all have little to no play. I have no idea what the problem is so if any of u know it would be greatly appreciated! Ps the car has never seen winter only has 16k on fully built motor and 12k on the trans and 80k on body so there is literally no wear and tear on all this new stuff so nothing is making any sense to me.

Was that a SAAB F40 axle for the driver side only? Sounds like its a balance issue if you only swapped on of the axles.

I did only change the drivers side because that’s the only side that was giving me a problem.

Might want to try replacing the passenger side.... worth a shot.

The reason I asked was there is a guy jack of no trades on youtube who did an F40 swap and didn't seem to having any trouble.

I was curious to see if he was now having trouble with vibration. I know Snali_SS swapped his back to an F35 because of vibrations.

That sounds like an issue with mounts, tbh. Sounds like how my car was before rotated mounts came out and we all just used polyurethane inserts in our trans mounts to try to get rid of wheel hop.

Yup thats was exactly my thoughts and I swapped all mounts I could and re torqued them and everything but it just never went away. My engine also has a weird ticking sound and that's why I'm doing the timing while in at it. I'm going back to stock as much as possible and take it from that

I’m on the OTTP F40 kit, stock power, drivers side(bought both) DSS axle is clicking like crazy at only a month after install, messaged OTTP, they said call DSS, so we will see Monday. But from the sound of it, looks like I’ll go with a Saab axle till fixed.

I feel kinda dumb honestly, if I would have known the DSS axles were crap I would have never got them. They add a lot to the cost of the kit.

May just run my stock lnf axles for a while if this Saab axle thing don’t work out. Hopefully DSS stands behind their stuff.

It happens. When I got my kit it came with one axle for the driver side and I thought I was giving me issues so I put the stock one on and didnt change anything so I just left it and never gave me issues

Did you ever try the Saab axles? I’m having the same problem with the DSS axles, I swapped the passenger side back with the stock one and it made a big difference. Want to maybe try the Saab one on the driver side.
