don't understand i didn't think you had to get a emisions test in missouri to be able to get your car licensed or what not. never had to get my cars emision tested. maybe i'm just being ignorant, that sucks though

they don't check emissions levels on 96 and up any more they plug into the computer and see if all of the I/M system flags are ready and no codes, thats all, if they pass then you are passing emission standards

true... but since my cat was not ready.... but there werent any codes they said...

what that means is that the bank 1 sensor 2 H02(cat sensor) has not performed a self test yet.

WEll you think its bad there! Move to cali where I live. Its really a pain! the cops love giving tickets for moded cars just because they dont have enough tickets givin out in a month.

If the cat is fried will it fail? or clogged?

sure will fail, if the cat is broken up on the inside then you will notice a huge performance issues, such as misfires to a leaking exhaust sound, it will feel like you are slamming on the gas but the car goes nowhere. ohh and the cat itself will be a purple color

go get one of them 20.00 special inspections, or would that not work i just never had to get my cars emissions tested ever. but never really had a legit inspection before this car.

Exactly... i hear that rattling sound/ exhaust leak sound you know? plus my cat tinks when i shut the car off and let it sit there and cool down....

I dont know... if my cat failed Im kinda worried about this one... plus he said hes gotten on it in 40 miles..,.. so i dont know
