Failed start, now throwing p1516 code

Failed start, now throwing p1516 code
I had just put gas in my Cobalt and went to turn it over, but the engine tried and then quit. I attempted again, and it turned over.
A few seconds later the check engine light came on, luckily an auto parts store was right down the road. Diagnostic said JUST P1516. No other codes, though it did give this code twice.
Vehicle drives fine, no signs of weakness, no "engine power reduced" message.
The other threads where I've seen P1516 show up, it comes with another, more serious code. Wondering if this might be a fluke or if I'm in for serious repair costs.
