Fan Making Noises

Hi, New here,
Just bought a 06 SS with the supercharger, but have a problem with it (acouple actually)..
When I turn the fan on I get a squeeking noise, does anyone else have this and what did you do to get rid of the noise, another problem I have is the sun roof switch, it keeps pushing into the ceiling and moving around (not secured well at all) and the plate over top fell off..
If anyone has any suggestions that has had this problem and can help me out that would be great!

the fan may need to be replaced if its the blower fan for the interior air system.

common issues with 06's.

Is yours black? Prolly my old one as I had both those issues when I traded it in. Had the shop look at the fan and they said no fault found, enjoy your tc...
Both are easily fixable but the fan isnt cheap.

2 very common problems with the car, thee fan ticking ur hearing can only be fixed by replacing the blower fan for the hvac system or by turning up the music , the sunroof bezel and switch is a bit trickier, i used some super glue and i made sure the switch seated in the 4 metal pieces which i put glue on, let it dry and then push the bezel back in.

They actually have an updated sunroof switch bezel that they can put in that will fix it. There was a TSB on it but I do not remember the number.

As far as the blower fan, my 2005 had that noise. I had them replace the blower and guess what, the noise was quieter but still there. My advice is to try and get them to replace it, but if not just turn up the radio a bit more.
