ok, so i noticed that the factory alarm would sometimes sound, atleast im 99% sure its mine. this morning i woke up and heard an alarm going and it sounded just like mine so i look out my window but the sound had stopped, so i dont know whats going on.

on the 2.4, isnt there supposed to be a lockout in first gear once you've hit a certain speed? i accidentally shifted from 2nd to 1st, cuz i wasnt really paying attention, good thing my revs were nice and low, but i was doing about 30km. i'm pretty sure there is supposed to be a lock out cuz i know it was there before, is there any reason it might have broke?

also, now it seems really hard to put it into 1st sometimes, i know it was like this when i first bought the car, but after driving it for a while it didnt do it anymore, now its back, i cant put it into first i have to try a few times and its pissing me off.

on another not really big issue, does anyone have a problem with their keyfob? in the manual it says if the battery is low, the DIC will tell you "Keyfob low" or something like that. one of mine, the one i used from the beginning only works once in a while.

if anyone had or has these issues i'd sure like to know.

ive had the car for about 8 months and have 11 000 kn on it and it hasnt gotten any better since i pulled it out of the dealership as far as getting it into first goes. its always been kinda hard to do same thing with reverse when its been sitting overnight i have to fight with it. the only time i have ever found it easy is once when i didnt use my car for like 3 days it shifted beautifuly

 

ive driven a few 2.4 sticks...
the main issue i see with them is second gear, when trying to shift fast from first to second she never wants to go in, maybe the linkage has to be adjusted....
