Few Questions /problems

Just replaced my PCM in 2005 cobalt ss . It has the stage 2 pulleys (slandered GM stage 2 kit ) .

It was a used PCM so there is no tune on it and has the check engine light to re-learn the crank sensor (which is obvious) but Will that hurt anything or be a problem ? It also seems like my fuel gauge is backwards . The more I drive the more my amount of fuel goes up , Unless its adapting to the new PCM I dont think its making gas as I drive haha .
And when I got it back the Power Steering was gone And the pump was replaced a year ago from GM on warrenty What could be the problem there ,Surly its not the pump all ready !

It's possible I really never ran a PCM from a different year for more then a few minutes and that's how I saw the gauge issues

Well I bought the car used and for whatever reason it had a 06 PCM in it and thats what the mechanic ordered . Works fine besides the fuel gauge is backwards .
And now get to fix my power steering Starting to dislike GM lol
