fix a flat = bad tire sensor?!

i know i know... fix a flat = FAIL... it was all i could do cuz i was 200 miles from home.

well all the tire sensors were not reset cuz i had my wheels powdercoated... so the flat tire was my left rear, but on the display, it said left front.
well yesterday i went to the dealer to re fill that rear left tire with nitrogen, as the other 3 did.... and i told them to reset the sensors cuz they are all mixed up. so he took the car back and did it (i hope)
well today the display told me to service my left front tire sensor... so idk if he rest the sensors and there is a bad sensor... or if he didnt do it and it is the sensor that had fix a flat in it that is the bad one...
so im like
what should i do? is there a way they can test it? or should i buy a new sensor, put it in one tire and if its not fixed put it in the other tire?

hate to say it but fix a flat usually messes up the sensor when you use it. I work at discount tire and have seen it acouple of times....if you can i'm sure that the dealership will bang u in the butt if u go there for a sensor....discount tire if u have one around you sell them for around 50$ i'm pretty sure

yea thats where i go for all my stuff cuz they are so carful. i love that place. but yea at the dealer they told me 70 to 120 cuz they are "car specific"
but the thing is idk what tire it really is... if it really is the front left... it should be under warranty.
i want to go up there and them show me that the sensors are reading for the right tire.

if the sensor is no good and the problem it's covered under the warrenty as well as re programing it. i had two of them done on my cobalt at the dealer no charge, just cost me two hours of my time waiting for it

like i said i had two go on my car and they were covered under the bumper to bumper warrenty, the dealer did'nt even try to dick around. they just fixed it, and it's GM who decides warrenty issues not the dealer

i never said it was gonna be fine... i just said i havent had any problems

i just need to go to the dealer now to see if they did reprogram it or not...
maybe that little remote that they use to tell it what tire it is can tell you if the sensor needs servicing.

From what ive been reading ......sometimes you can clean the sensor and get it back in working condition. I would ask for the old sensor back if they replaced it .
