fog light bulb keeps burning out...
My fog light bulbs keep burning out after two months of having new bulbs. Its only one or the other not both and I replaced the fog lights after they burnt out from having them in for a while...two months later one burnt out so I replaced it and then one of them burnt out again.
Is anyone having this problem, I am using sylvania silverstar bulbs when I replace them.

Yep, bad connection at the bulb. Check your voltage at the socket and check your ground resistance. Entirely possible your installing the incorrect bulb. Read carefully sometimes bulbs are rated for "13.6V" not 12V, I am not entirely sure what the difference really is in the bulb itself but dodge in particular as part of a TSB on melted light sockets now has a P/N for a 13.6V bulb. It could also be filament orientation in relation to the vertical movement of the car. if the filament is sagging, it will burn out much faster than if it is installed with the filament vertical. In some cases the filament is installed from rear to front inside the bulb, in which case this doesn't matter. Try a brand change to see if that helps.
EVER
DONT EVEN THINK
about putting a bigger fuse in a circuit. the wires are rated for a certain amperage. the reason they rate them for the amperage on the fuse is because the fuse will blow before catching on fire

Here an obvious question but one that is easily overlooked - do you make sure to NOT touch the glass on the bulb when installing them?? Any fingerprints or skin oils will cause the bulbs to burn out prematurely.
Agreed. A higher amperage fuse is never the solution to a wiring problem. It just creates more issues.
