I have an 06 cobalt ss with GM stage 2 kit just purchased about a month ago. When getting on the gas hard or normal exactly at 2700-2800 rpm's in 2nd and 3rd gear it almost has a split second delay and gets back into it. Is this normal??? Has anyone else had this issue? Please help!!!

yea bud mine does it at random. i hit the gas and nothing, then it kinda jerks you a little bit and then takes off. that sound like ur problem?

 

mine not at exactly at random its exactly at 2700-2750 rpm every time in 2nd and 3rd gear no matter how hard im accelerating. It does do a slight jerk but very minimal but i still getting power during it tho

 

if you dont have an interceptor gauge, go to autozone and have them scan it for codes. Sometimes if you throw an intake air code, it will run a lil funny.

Also try cleaning the TB. The oil blowby in the PCV line gunks them up bad.
