put the wiring back to stock and run a dedicated power line for your boost gauge from the bcm fuse panel. there are about 5 empty slots that will work the same way as if you tapped into something else. this is why you don't tap into existing circuits

well light itself for being able to be lit up should be on the same fuse as your dash lights and such. if you really wanted to find the fuse for the dash lights and tap into that with a mini-make a fuse kit (i don't recommend doing it) and that should help ya out. now if when you disconnect the boost gauge from the switch and the light still doesn't light up then chances are you fried the light inside of it and you need a new switch or someone who knows how to solder a new one in

hmm. i can't remember off the top of my head if their is a fuse for it. but if you pull the passenger floor console panel off their is a diagram and list of the fuses and what they are for. you could try looking there to see if there is a fuse for that particular area

ya. see that is why you don't tap into existing circuits is for that reason. but i'm glad it didn't do too much damage and you got it working now. now you just need to get the new switches so they light up again.

the wideband i know how to do but not so much on where to tap into for a boost gauge other then the 2.0L. and with your wideband for power do the same thing you did with the boost gauge put it on an independent power line. you should be able to use the same source as your boost gauge.

yeah the wideband is easy... just hooking up the boost gauge sucks because the plastic manifold is so thin. or i can switch to a saab manifold...
but psychocam said he just drilled a hole in his plastic manifold and screwed it in without tapping it and it works fine so idk.

ya i've been looking into the saab manifold a few months ago. then i got laid off so that got put on hold. got a job lined up here in a few weeks so modding will commence again this summer
