fried amp

I am riding down the road listing to some tunes when I notice smoke from dash and then silence. The sweet smell of burnt wires fills the cabin and I am pissed. My amp is fried and the car doesn't have a 1000 miles yet. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Thank god for the warranty.

That's the first time I've ever heard of that happening... interesting... maybe a flaw with the new "black tie" radio?

Be ready for it to happen again it took the dealer 2 times to get myn fixed... First time they put an amp in, I picked the car up was driving home poped again and i smelt something burning, turned around took it back but they said they had to order an amp directly from Pioneer(i think) and it wouldn't be in for a couple days. It came in 6 days later and so far so good.

My car had 9000 miles at the time.
