Front Brake Hex Socket Size?

Well the time has come for me to change my brakes for the first time on my 06 SS/SC. I have new pads and rotors because the stock rotors have been warped for about a year and I'm so tired of them already.

I tried searching but had no luck on this. What size is the hex key socket that I need to remove the caliper? Thanks

I'd bet money on it. At least they didn't use Torx or Allen bolts like some earlier cars.

Just buy a basic Metric socket set and you'll be covered.

Ok so it isn't an actual hex key socket then? It's just a regular socket that I already have. I used to have a Cavalier that used one of those hex key sockets. Thanks for the help!

Got it done! Nice to have smooth vibration free noise free stops again!
