Did you pull the fuel pump fuse? If so did you put it back?

edit: I mean the fuel pump relay.

yea, i got it. it just took a little longer than i was expecting. thanks for the help. i had to leave it in the "on" position for a lot longer than 10 seconds like it said in the how to.

Ah, well thats good. I will probably change mine soon. I am going to do a much of service work around 30k. New NGK plugs, coolant changes, fuel filter, bleed the brakes, all that good stuff. I think that should be all it would need.

Sorry about that. When I changed mine 10 seconds was plenty, but not every car is the same I suppose.

no biggie, it was a piece of cake, especially considering i have never done this before. but when it didn't start, i double checked the how to, it said 10 seconds, and it had already been like 2 monutes, i got a lil nervous. i also threw a code for a bad fuel pump sensor, probably from trying to start the car with no gas running deleted the code and all is good to go!

thanks for the how to.

I'm pretty sure 25K-30K is the consensus around here...

it can actually be changed earlier than that... I saw a filter pulled out of a SS/SC at 25,000 and it was absolutely clogged with crap.

I plan on changing mine @ 15,000.
