Fuel Rail Leak.
So, i discovered a leak in my fuel rail where the line connects to it. I tightened up the nut right below the line and it slowed the leak down. Anyone got ideas? It randomly came out of nowhere. I already made an appt. at Chevy.

Maybe a bad seal or fitting, kinked tubing etc.....
Shouldnt be a hard fix but that sucks since you dont really want to drive around leaking gas on top of the motor. Let us know what happens.

I also noticed a power decrease and HORRIBLE gas mileage as of this. The DIC indicates 32mpg HIGHWAY, but at the press of the throttle moderately hard or WOT, i can pretty much watch the gauge move.

Got it back to the dealer, not the one that installed the Stage 2 kit but the one who fixed my car after my accident. Turns out, the rail leaks at every injector where they connect and where the fuel line enters the rail. I went to see what it looked like yesterday and every o-ring and seal was crushed. My car was a ticking time bomb for 7000+ miles.

Accident repair was NOTHING under the hood, all suspension work. Weird thing is, i always had a slight smell of fuel. Then i noticed the Fuel Rail cover being slightly wet. Now this.

I really hope i'm just being paranoid but sometimes I get a slight fuel smell when I get on it a little. I should have bought an Si. All the torque that these domestics are putting out are shaking them apart!!!
For the record I was just kidding about getting the Si.

Honestly, i smelt it Monday night when i got home. Popped the hood, couldnt see anything, Tuesday morning i popped the hood and sniffed around, found the leak at the line/rail connection. Started it, and could literally see fuel start puddling around the line and eventually leak over. It was a constant drip.
