Gas Pedal Sticking
One of those annoying things - my 09 SS/TC has developed an annoying sticking point on the gas pedal at WOT.
When I floor it, e.g., when I'm getting up to speed on a highway entrance ramp, the pedal has an annoying little spot where it sticks a little, and you feel it "click" slightly through your foot as you let off the gas.
Anybody have this? I'm going to get busy with checking/cleaning/lubing the pivot points, but its a crazy thing to have on a 'balt with barely 10k on the clock!

Don't know if I want to drive a half hour and wait a half day for some idiot to grease my pivot, if you know what I'm sayin'. They're bad enough.
Just wondering if there's some other guys out there who've seen this. Maybe its just my car trying to force me to power shift. Hmmm.....

But that's what they'll likely do anyways. The accelerator pedals on the Cobalts are sealed. No greasing anything. If it starts sticking or binding, it gets a new one.
That said.. no I've never seen that happen before in any Cobalt/G5/Ion.. or any other GM car that's throttle-by-wire.

Finally took a good look at the assembly - had a bit of garbage wedged up between the bracket and arm on the side away from the senor - sensor was fine - the junk would move with the assembly, but hang slightly once the pedal was fully depressed. Cleaned the snot out of everything - works like a charm.
Not the strangest thing I've seen on my car, but definitely strange.
