Gear Box is Tight/Hard to shift into 3rd?

Guys, Here's the deal: I just got done getting my new clutch/Flywheel installed like 2 weeks ago and when I picked it up from the shop it was extremely hard to shift in any gear and I took it back and He Re-Bled the clutch and it felt better but not like it was BEFORE the install, So had him Re-Bleed again and it seemed to be all good, For the most part, But then I noticed at times it feels very tough to get into 3rd almost like there's still an air pocket in the lines, But here's the kicker, It only does it intermittently and it's super annoying when I'm at WOT or close to it, It seems like it does it at its worse when I'm getting on the throttle, When cruising it seems to shift fine most of the time. So, I had my buddy at work Bleed it one more time and he didn't think that there was any more air stuck in there? So what could cause the rough shifting into 3rd at times? Any input would be appreciated as I'm at a stalemate,Thanks!

My car does this in 2nd gear, although I've heard/read that 2nd gear is horrible to shift into in the LNF. I don't know about the LSJ. Subd for results on the problem..

Did you have your TOB replaced too? Could be that it is getting weak and doesn't push the pressure plate in far enough to release the clutch properly.

Nah, I replaced the TOB when I installed the new clutch but as stated in the above post it almost feels like 3rd "Locks UP" and its not like I cant get into 3rd but it takes me to actually pull it out and then put it back in 3rd again for it to go in, Very odd....Never had the Issue BEFORE I got the clutch installed, So it has me frustrated!

Not sure....Could one of those be the issue given the symptoms I'm having?

Same here, never had an issue going into 2nd. It's annoying when it doesn't want to go into 5th.

2nd is just a little tight but my main issue is going from 2nd to 3rd, It sometimes feels like something is blocking me and it just takes way to much force to put it in 3rd at times, Cause it only does it here and there not every single time.

is it an aftermarket pressure plate? if so you may need to purchase from zzp their adjustable clutch rod. the extra strength of the pressure sometimes drops pedal height and also doesnt alow the tob to be fully extended thus creating hard shifting. i went through this and the adjustable rod for 99 buck was the perfect fix. look into it and good luck.

I'm not sure if its an after market pressure plate? I had a SPEC stage 3+ clutch w/ Alum flywheel installed w/ a new TOB?

yes you definatley have a stiffer pressure plate then . check out zzp's website under drivetrain
and look at the adjustable clutch rod. its going to allow you to adjust your pedal height and bleed down for your clutch master cylinder. your not fully disengageing your clutch because your pedal height has dropped and you not getting enough travel. this should fix ur problem.

Thanks for your Help! You might be on to something here....It def makes sense, Is this a fairly common problem? If so, Why have you been the ONLY person to mension this?

**Edit: After reading ZZP's Adjutable Clutch rod info this seems to be the exact issue! It is harder to shift the higher my RPM's are and sometimes it dosent even have to be at high RPM's but it seems to be worse at higher RPM's, Also my pedal engages basically 2-3" off the floor which is wayyy too low IMO, I think we have a Winner!

**UPDATE: Since so many people are dying with antisipation lol, I purchased ZZP's Adjustable Clutch Rod and had my mechanic put it in today(which took him 4 hours and not the 30 mins that ZZP claims on thier site) and it made a HUGE difference with the driveability of my gear box, Everything feels normal now and it still kinda feels tight when I go WOT than if crusing and shifting but it feels MUCH better than it did before, Its obvious that the clutch wasent totally dis-engaging when I pushed it to the floor to shift , I was able to lift the clutch engagement to mid length(stock engagement). For anyone experiencing a similar issue, I can only HOPE that you dont have to put one of these rods in cause its a real Bit**!
