my girlfriend has a 2.2 2001 cavalier and my obd 2 scanner will no longer read it anymore it used to. when i put the scanner on it the abs,maintance,and the emergency light came on the cluster. anyone know what causes this problem or how to fix it. i checked all fuses they were good. except the lighter fuse. it seems like there isnt any power going to the scanner.

 

Lighter fuse powers the OBD port as well. Replace the fuse, you will get power back to the scanner.
