Got a problem

First off my car's rpm start to jump down to 500 rpms then back up to 1.5k rpms a few times untill the idle is set smooth. The other thing that it is doing when i accelerate it sounds like a dam subaru and has died a few times coming to a stop. If anyone has any ideas what this could be i would love to know thanks. I also have an intense stage III kit on my car with an injen intake if there are any problems there. Anything would help thanks alot.

I have intense stage IV and the exact same problem. I e-mailed them. They said to scan it and mail in the pcm for corrections. Trouble is I can't find anyone to scan my car locally to get the idle readings. If you can get some read outs just mail it to them and they will likely fix it for free. My issue with that is I don't trust adjustments that are made indirectly to my car like that. Either way, can mail it to them or pay someone to make adjustments in person directly to your car.

Ya ever since it started happening it started running real rich, i have a guy here locally that pulled my tune off my car with EFIflash. Hes waiting on the calibration from GM. Cuz im gonna have him reflash the intense tune and have him put his own tune for the upgrades plus a lil more aggresive hopefully that will fix it.

Are you getting a lot of vibration at idle too? My entire dash vibrates at idle. In gear it runs really smooth, so it is odd. I wish I could find someone local like I said. Makes me a little angry since I paid them extra for a dynotune, which should have corrected these issues. I might try out innovativetuning, since it is only 2 hours from me. See if they can correct these minor issues cheap. I think the issue isn't intense's fault directly just an original issue that the new injectors etc make more noticable.

yeah, it is the same with me. That is why I will likely get a retune or at least a diagnostic run to check it out. I try to baby my car rather than take the chance. I'm leaning toward a full scan just to make sure there are no other issues I'm missing or that will show up later.

I already changed the autolites from the package. They were misfiring and I was getting knock with them. I put in the ngk plugs and it fixed both issues. Also lowered the gap slightly.

sounds like a vacum leak somwhere that is either a leak or a hole. Check all your hoses and connections. this may solve it or may not. for it to suddenly go rich has to be lack of air getting into the engine and being bypassed

Would a vacum leak make it sound like it has a cam in it and when i accelerate sounds like a subaru?
