Green foglight light on dash

So why does it randomly come on and go off whenever it feels like it? I can turn on and off my foglights without it ever coming on

the chevrolet cobalt runs on a series of miniature Koreans pulling chains. one of them must have died.

Maybe a loose connection on the light?

The lights turn on and off no problem, just the stupid light on the dash never comes on, well it does sometimes, I can care less for it though lol, just want to know if it's a common issue or what

Nope its not common... Hardly ever heard of dash light problems other than CEL's
