half a bolt stuck in the header 3bolt flange side

help wud be nice well ideas neways....i have a problem i snapped one of the bolts that holds the header nd d/p together i half yesterday and i need assistance getting it out cause its being a pain the the ass if ya know wut i mean....i tried vice grips that dont work...nd i dont feel like using the hammer drill uderneath the car...so my idea now is to take it up to chevy nd get it fixed nebody else have an idea or two that could save me some money?? thanks folks

you will probably have to drill it then press it out, or use some bolt/stud extractors. I recommend the brand Hanson (as part of my job i have to remove stuck fasteners from damn near anything so i'm pretty much a pro at it thus far) ...but i would try an extractor first.

looks something like that...they are designed to fit tighter on the stud/bolt while turning..can be turned with a wrench or socket...

if that doesnt work, looks like you are going to have to drill to just about the size of the stud/bolt (being careful that you stay on center...don't wanna mess up the flanges by drilling into them) and just collapsing the stud around itself, then buying a new one and pressing it in...

but a photo of the problem would be a bigger help, allows me to better diagnose your problem and offer a better solution...

Drill a line into the bolt and use flat head screwdriver to unscrew it.
