Headlight harness issue on 2010 LT

So tried installing HID's today, and on the left headlight the wiring going into the blue plug are loose. If electrical taped into place the regular headlight works fine, but when the HID is plugged in it blows the fuse.

Are these weak or am i just doing something wrong?

if it blows the fuse when you plug in the HID harness the most likely cause is that the harness is setup for 9004 bulbs, which have the low beam and ground reversed compared to the 9007 in our cars. this will blow the fuse. the pinsbeingloose isprobably just it being a cheapy harness

The right hid works fine so i think its just a shitty harness. Was just wondering if this is a known issue

meant the OEM (GM) harness. Thats the one that only works when the wires are bent.

No, theres no known issues with the GM harness, they are pretty good. did you check to see if it got damaged?

the wires fell out of the harness a little bit. Once you push them back into place they work fine. Just in case anybody else has this issue it is an easy fix. Thanks guys.
