Headlight Problem, Need Help ASAP

OK heres the story, i got my gen 1 projectors about 20k miles ago, all was good the both main headlights went out, so i replaced them with silverstars then again they went out in about 3 months, so i replaced again and tonight on my way home the driver side went out, as my passenger side went out yesterday.

Am i doing something wrong when i replace them, i wear gloves and never tough the bulbs, and almost make sure they are in and correctly put back, they just keep blowing on me. Is there anything i can do or just keep replacing them, hence its 40 bucks eachtime, since i run silverstars, and i have NO HID, but thinking about getting sum.

Just wondering what the deal is and what i can do to prevent this from happening ever 3-4 months

Thanks

Silverstars never last more than 6 months.

Also make sure you aren't getting oil from your fingers on the bulb when you install them, that causes faster burn outs.

the only differance between the silver stars and the xtra visons are the silver stars are 4000k and the xtra visons are 3500k

which why they last longer probably because they are at a lower temperature and pressure. Less light output though.

Well you are the lucky one. I have had 3 sets of silverstars in various vehicles and they just don't last. That's it.
