headlights fogging up

hey I have a problem with my head lights I took them apart and painted them and sealed them up and now they fog up and I don't know what to do I took them off and put my stockers back on so i can drive but how do i test them to find where the leak is coming from?

use a hair dryer and dry them out, take a hot glue gun and go around the seal and complerelty fill the sealent. Did this with mine and works flawlessly!

Bumpage, Head lights are still foging up and I don't know what to do about it. Does anyone know of a way to test to see were the leek it coming from?

water test. spray with a straight nozzle around the head lamp to see where it's leaking. no joke.

You can alway re-seal them.

Take all the old stuff off and redo it.

Yep, best way is to just start the hell over. Failing that, see if you can notice any warped areas.

There's a logical explanation for everything man, you'll figure it out eventually.

i had the same problem, had to reseal the whole thing, its close to impossible to find leaks especially if they're really small. I did pressure tests with vacuums and water tests and just ended up resealing with more silicone and taking my time with it, and pre-cleaning it better.

Some stock headlights don't seal properly, I'm on my third or fourth passenger headlight under warranty. Seems that when I drive for a while with the lights on and then park in the cold, moisture finds it's way in and freezes by morning.

yup, just seen my passenger headlight starting to get some moisture... dammit, oh well now i can take 'em off and paint 'em!
