ok so i have a 4 dr. LS, well i got it like 3 weeks ago. i was washing it and noticed there is not and trim/ modling on my passanger side. so i got to thinking about it and looking more on that side of my car when i also noticed the doors are not lined up. and i don't remember if i was showed a car fax on the car or not. but my question is should all of my doors have stickers that have my vin number on them or anything. i am going back to the stealership tomorrow and asking a car fax. but i want to point out things first and someone told me that the doors should have stickers on them. true or false?

I don't think all the doors should have the VIN number.

 

either way. if you've got those problems on a car that's 3 weeks old, I'd take it back to the dealer whether it was in a wreck once or not. if it was it was probably some wash boy who messed up a door and they replaced it. doubt if it would have an accident report... unless you bought it used.

 

I just purchased a 2006 SS S/C and the back pannel or bumper is missalingh, i think is just poor construction and design failures. why do you think it cost you way less to purchase an american car than a japanese or european? poor construction, poor design and poor cheap materials not to mention basic interiors and controls. it works!! lots of people buy GM and ford every day because the price is attractive but thats the price to pay..

It could just be a cobalt thing- I bought a 05 SS/SC off the showroom and the front bumper doesn't line line up with the fenders or headlights right. I've seen things like that on a couple cobalts.
