Have a 2005 chevy cobalt with 2.2 ecotec. cel came on. runs great for a minute and then barely runs or drives the next minute. Code 0171, 133, and 137. Repaced both 02 censors and maf sensor. Checked air cleaner and checked for leaks. Still the same. I have disconnected battery and reset and still the same problems. Have also re set gas cap. Not sure what to do next. Car is 100% stock with 64k
Did you replace th O2 sensors with oem parts or after market ,should always use oem part for sensor as the pcm is calibrated to those and they send milvolt siganls back to the pcm.
Could it be possible your cat is clogged?
If you know everything is good than you havae to start looking at a fuel problem for the leanness.
Bad injector.
Does it run good on a cold start in the morning(as this because pcm ignores the O2 sensors for a few minutes and runs in closed loop)
Also maybe you got bad gas, could try dumping in a bottle of fuel conditioner or something to disperse the water read the label.
When did you last get gas ?just before the problems started.

I was on the freeway and had traveled approx 120 miles. Was at approx 3/8 tank when problem started. I have now changed fuel filter and installed new fuel cap. Same problem. Just went and filled up with premium and a bottle of lucas injector cleaner. Seemed to run much better immediately. still seems to starve for fuel when i kick down to passing gear. Fuel pump?? or the fuel pump assembly??
