2008 SS/TC My car has been acting up lately. Been turning over hard, have to give it alot of gas to get going. Tonight on my way home got on it hard in 3rd to about 90 and let off the gas and pushed in the clutch. When I did this the car went right to 0 rpm and the oil light came on. It was the like the motor shut right off. I then let the clutch back out after i got down to 45 or so and the rpms came back up and the car acted like nothing happened. I got no cels at all when this happened.

Please help..

 

There might be a ecm code stored that will give you more info. Not all codes set the engine light on, some codes require multiple failures over a set amount of time to set the light on.
So check for codes.

 

I will see if there is anything in the tech 2 tmw at work. I think it is prolly the wonderful valve spring and lash adjuster issue.
