Help before i blow up my car.

Just did exhaust got a header/dp and full catback all 3" shortly after the car started going into limp mode. its been happening more frequently over the past couple days its to the point i cant keep it out of limp mode for more than 5 mins. Throwing code P2138 and P2122 dont think exaust should cause that checked all connectors at throttle body and pedal they wern't loose also cleaned the throttle body that worked for about 10 min. I need help before i blow my car up.

holy crap, i'd take that in, something unrelated to the exhaust is causing them. That is all I can tell you from the info given. You haven't messed with that stuff in anyway?

and the culprit is which for those of you that dont know is located here now how would i go about fixing this for one there is no chance of even getting anything bigger than my hand in there and the gm service manual emphasises <--(sp?) that when doing a wiring repair the wire must remain the same length

think tank time whatta ya got

So feels like you have NO power at all? Have you taken the battery cable off for a while?

Ok, so the blue wire is for amp1 and it is cut right? Reconnect it

I see now I was in limp mode in my head . All I can think of is have someone with smaller hands then you get back there and do it. Or did you try getting the wire out threw the other side?

damn man, I'd hate to have to tackle that. wire cutters and crimpers might be your best friends for this one.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

didnt really read the thread but it really dosent matter how long the wire is...im sure if you cut 2 inches off so you can splice it, it will be just fine...

the twist lock connector worked great. never used one before but i would highly reccomend them for tight places. and it was easy to put on one handed
