CylindLer Misfire CEL

P0300 - Engine Misfire Detected
and I also got
P0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1

I read about the P0171 and how it could be so many things that cause it. I have double checked every part of the intake. Everything is tight and secure. My EVAP hose on the TB was kinda pinched so that might be why I got the P0171 also my exhaust sounds a bit funny so I am thinking there is a leak when I installed my LSJ Exhaust Mani and DP.

I am a 2005 SC'ed 2.2L. Everything seems to be running good except my boost gauge isn't picking up a reading.

What can cause the P0300? Bad plug? Wrong gap on the plug?

Also yes I realize "cylinder" is typo'ed in the title.

Well when I pulled the code all it said was Engine Misfire Detected. I was just driving, didn't feel anything weird. Is it still safe to drive?

i get that code everyday on my sc'd 2.2. usually after long highway driving. But I narrowed it down to sparkplugs as the right ones are on order right now.

Well mine should have been the right ones, they were included with the ZZP kit.

Been raining here for the past 3-4 days and I've been getting the same code, p0300. I've noticed it only comes on when its raining outside...weird.

I had p300 as well 'random misfire' and p0172, both of which are caused by aftermarket intake. I would clear it, but would come back later. Zach tuned my car and also fixed this problem as well.

Hmm, so if the intake is bringing in more air than my MAF is used to it may misfire and cause the lean bank code?

Keep in minde:
I noticed that the Aeroforce Interceptors at least on my car, some how create phantom misfires. The engine doesnt seem to misfire, yet it counts misfires, and throws erronious P0300 codes. Normaly this only occurs if you set your interceptor to watch misfires. I can check my codes with my interceptor and I get P0300 and I check with my scaner I baught at Advanced Auto Parts and I get PASS No Codes.

Also,
If I idle for 15 minutes while watching misfires, I get a engine light.
If I idle for 15 minutes while watching some other paramater nothing
happens.

I unplug interceptors
No misfire codes..
Just keep in mind.
