help with brakes please

i just changed the rotors and pads on my 2006 cobalt ss s/c and i also bled the system, now when i go to stop my pedal just keeps traveling down and seems like not all the pressure is being applied, before i did this my car was stopping fine with no issues, so I'm wandering what could be the issue here, any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance

You have air in the lines, rebleed the brakes.

Exactly what he said. You didn't get all the air out, actually you introduced air into the system that wasn't there before. In the future, if your fluid is clean, just press the calipers back in slowly and install new pads, no reason to open up a good working system just to bleed it.

It's possible you damaged the master cyl while bleeding, if you forced it too far down or something. Go over it slowly next time you bleed it, be careful to not allow any air back into the system from the bleeders or from letting the fluid levels drop in the master. Give each corner plenty of cycles to ensure there isn't air further up the lines.
