My compressor turns on cause I hear the clicking noise. I checked it at idle. it works fine. My issue is intermittent so I'll probably have to bring it to the dealer.

My local repair shop is going to call the dealership tomorrow and hopefully they can direct him in the right direction.

My problem ended up being my control temperature knob. They replaced the part and it cost 222$ but they covered it under warranty. Ever since, everything has been OK. There was an electrical problem and they fixed that too. They did say that the electrical problem did cause my control system to not work properly. They covered it under an extended warranty and it cost me 100$ for the time and parts. I don't even have an extended warranty so I was pretty happy. I saved about 300$!!

My compressor was still turning on though.

Ok so my problem sounds similar to this...

AC blowing warm air.
Cooling fans not coming on even with AC turned on high.
Climate control lights are dim.
When I go from inside air to outside air, I get a clicking noise in passenger side dash.

I changed out the cooling fan relays and that's not the problem. I feel like I just wasted $45, but I wanted to eliminate that first before I start looking elsewhere for the problem. Can anybody help?

Check your condensor for a hole or a good rock ding that would cause a hole.I think its the First rad you see looking from the front .
Especially if you dont have a lower grill.
Otherwise you will first need to check the pressure.

Is the compresor clutch engaging at all.
