omg i was driving...and no i wasnt racing or gunning it....just normal driving coming home from work and bam i see a huge puff of smoke and then my check engine light came on....hopefully it will turn off tmr but no im all worried and ****....anybody got any ideas

Not much anybody can help you with without being able to touch your car. Check all your fluid levels; maybe you'll find out where the problem area is that way. Get it to the dealer ASAP. Sorry, can't offer any better help....

do you have an intake on your car. my car throws a cell at temps lower than 50 degrees. I know because it was fine all summer and now the cool air is throwing cells again.

puff of smoke from exhaust....took it to the dealer today...theres a bulletin about the intake being clogged or something like that...anyway its fixed now and all is good on the cobalt front
