Help with issues on a 05 SS/SC

Newbe to this forum, I do not own a cobalt, a close friend and co-worker does own the car. One owner, just rolled 90k miles, CAI, Flowmaster muffler, other than that never been touched, other than normal wear and tear, just had the PS recall done. Just started this week, door locks doing whatever they want with or with out the keys in the ignition, the car alarm also doing whatever it wants also. Have no clue where to start. Were both mechanic's but work on Semi's. He's not into the internet nor does he own a computer. Kinda hard to believe in the year 2012 right.....

Any help or advice would be a huge help.

There's a list of other crap to, just discovered this forum, been searching and seeing what I can find.

Sun roof not working, Drivers door has issues opening from time to time inside and out, Trunk just clicks when you hit the button, dealer replaced a few parts when it was under warranty, back to doing the same thing, a popping/clicking noise when you turn the steering wheel either way sometimes, pass side door lock switch just quit working recently, CD player quit working, and seems like the tuner is going out.

It's been a trouble free car then in the last month she's falling apart quick, he's talking about selling it but I'm guessing most of the list is small stupid crap. Have recently been looking into the GMPP stage 3 kit, and having my brother port and polish the head, (world famous NHRA Pro-Stock engine builder and Cylinder head and NOS systems devlopment), upgrading the clutch, cams, springs, valves and full exhaust system.

Then all this crap came up, just as we were gonna drop the engine/trans outta it.

Is it the stock alarm, don't no if you could get the car with one in 05.other than dealer installed( does it have a seperate or oem keyfob for the door lock)
If not it could be the the cause of a lot of your grief .It will be wired into all those things.
