help with power loss, lagging.

in the last like 2 or 3 weeks my car has been really like laggy, lots of power loss sometimes, but other times it works fine, had it to the dealership twice and the mechanic said when he drove it there was definetly some power loss and suggested a clogged cat. then he told me the cat wasent clogged so i took it to the muffler shop they also said it wasent clogged, i replaced the air filter and checked the spark plugs. also there was never a check engine light on or anything.

anyone know what could be going on.

thanks.

Maybe your brakes are dragging.
You would smell it though when you get out of the car.

You have traction control .If you do,You dont notice the light fllashing on when the problem occurs .

Another thing try to monitor your alternator output voltage ,it should be at 14 v when driving and if it reduces to say 11 v the pcm will retard the timoing etc and you would feel a power loss possibly with no cel.
