HELP!!!! supercharger oil

I don't need people asking me questions. Got a friend upgrading to a 2.5 pulley and he just picked up his supercharger from being machined. What kind of oil does the supercharger need cause the guy dumped it all out unfortunately. if someone can respond asap that would be great!

you can get it from the dealership.....I don't know the part # for it, but they should be able to look it up. Also vendors like Intense sell it on their website. The oil usually comes in like an 8oz bottle I think

Its really amazing what happens when you útilize the search button!

GM p/n 12345982 you'll need 2 bottles.

You'll end up waiting a few days I'm sure since dealerships don't stock this item.

It's amazing how much of a dick you can be. I found that already, I was looking for an answer other than the dealership so that we could possibly put his car back together tonight. but that didn't happen. so there, dick.

And how would I have known you already found the thread?!?!?! Why not elaborate a little bit. Most dealerships would look at you like you are nuts anyways by just asking for the oil without a part number. You can go to any auto parts store and ask if they have a comparison to the GM Part number, good luck though. Its not like the stuff is plentiful and easily available like water. So much for helping someone out...

Poor planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency.

EDIT: Found this thread that says full synthetic 5W30 will work; I still wouldn't do it though.
