HID bulb burnt out

I have the gen 1 hid kit on my car. The bulb burnt out on me tonight and i dont remember what kind of bulb it used. I know it was 6000k though.

You can get replacement bulbs pretty easy. Most HID kits use the same connector, so the bulbs tend to be very easy to swap.

Walmart definately wouldn't have any HID parts. Places like Autozone would only carry the bulbs for OEM applications that use a much different connector.

well i got the new bulbs, and upon further trial, it turns out that the bulb isnt burnt out after all. I think my ballast is bad because it doesnt make that high pitch sound like the other side does... is that my problem?

Yes most likely. We carry Replacment ballasts. One way to check is take your working headlight and plug it into that ballasts.

I just went to your website to look at your ballasts. They dont look like mine. the wires plug into the face of mine. but yours look different.

Post a pic of the connectors. Generally most HID kits use the same bulb to ballast plug.
