When i go WOT in 2nd gear (didn't really test with other gears) and I'm high rpm 5k+ and boosting 20psi, I hear this high pitched noise. I never got this under stock tune. Is this normal or is something wrong? Car is 2010 SS with 5000 miles on it. k&n intake catless.

Also, I asked for 23 PSI tune but my max boost is 20psi. I emailed Vince my data logs and to boost me up to 23 but he hasn' t replied yet.

sounds like you have a boost leak or turbo could possibly be going

I have this to. Seems like when I hit above 10-15 psi. I am on Gm s1 and I am hp tuned.

I have checked and I have no boostleaks unless it's in the turbo itself.

mines the same way. think its normal, just high pitch at full boost

 

I have a Kn intake on, i can't hear it with the stock intake on. I'm also having issues with my car with knock retard. Aka detonation.

 

If you guys are having the same sound as what's in my video, it could be your BPV.

 

Domistic has a forge BPV so that cancels the BPV out if he is having the same issue.

Exactly. I had It when I had the stock bpv in so I got the forge and it does the same. I would say it's something in the turbo. Maybe due to more flow? Wen I had the stock cp on with the Kn Sri it made the same noise.
