High Rev, No power

So I was a little drunk last night and got a little throttle happy and now this morning when I go start up my baby she's running funny. Supercharger isn't spooling that I can tell the RPMs go through the roof but slow acceleration and almost no power accompany it. Anyone want to fathom what I f-ed up?

that would be a negative, it goes up almost to zero then stays.

is a clutch covered under warranty, even if its my fault it got torched?

extremely unlikely it is considered a wear and tear item similar to brakes. Your car should be acting in a similar fashion as if you have your clutch engaged and your revving the engine, a small amount of response from the supercharger but insanely fast rpm rise.

i doubt it's the clutch.... if it's not reading any boost

does your supercharger sound normal?

it's not spooling so it is not making any noise. Maybe its the clutch AND the charger?

well if the belt is on the pulley it will spin the rotors.......... so you say it's not spooling/spinning i would say it has to be... if it is then the pressure has to be getting out somewhere

maybe its the bypass? can't remember the technical name for it

with no performance upgrades I doubt it is the supercharger since you can't overspin the charger on a stock tune. It may be both but I can't think of a situation where that would happen unless you broke something under the hood ... perhaps you damaged a sensor.

Texas A&M guy I'm assuming

Only cause I saw College Station as your location. Check the belt on the supercharger see how much is slipping if any.......

you assume correct, I'm an Aggie. I'll go check the belt here in a sec and hopefully get the rest of it looked at tomorrow when my dealership opens up again.

thats what mine felt like when i blew my tranny, went into all the gears fine, didn't really make any noise, just would barely move, and no boost or power at all. is there any fluid under the hood, cus mine shot brake fluid everywhere.

Revving high and not moving definately sounds like a clutch... the boost guage not reading above 0 psi that I don't know... maybe the boost bypass is stuck, or you have a massive leak somewhere, or the boost guage itself is broken. The car will disable boost if it detects abuse, but turning the car off and starting it back up "should" clear that... you can try unplugging the battery for 10 minutes to clear any codes and see what happens. Yeah, the clutch/tranny may just be messed up pretty bad.

By the way - driving when drinking = stupid

thank you for the advice I'm aware of the bad decision making ability I have, ask any of my exes. none the less no brake fluid spraying, no fluids leaking. so probably tranny and clutch... this is gonna be delightful.
