how many people have changed their sc oil and had problems?
True... however the life of the SC is only 100K. So if you are hoping to run it more than that you may want to change the oil. Also, when running a smaller pulley you do create a bit more heat, so it is a good idea the change the oil.
guess it depends on how small a pulley you want to run. the most efficient pulley (per eaton) is the 2.8
idk, if i ever service the blower, i'll prob port/polish it while i'm at it along with changing the oil, or just upgrade to the tvs
From what people have said, the only common problem that results from an oil change is overfilling. ZZP says it's 6 ounces but a LOT of people argue it's only 4.
If you overfilled and it ruins anything it will blow the seal at the snout and start leaking out. AFAIK this is the only symptom, so if your engine bay is coated with SC oil that seal probably went out.
